Once again, Evanescence making noise in the international rock scene. This time making it to Revolver's Golden God Awards 2012. The band earned four cool nominations including the Best Vocalist for Amy Lee.

"My Heart Is Broken" on Myx!

After a month in release, Evanescence "My Heart Is Broken" finally enters in the Myx International Top 20. The second single from the "Evanescence" album landed at the # 20 spot on its first week. On the second week, MHIB climbs 3 spots landing to # 17 . Now in its third week, MHIB struggles further to reach the # 1 spots. Though it seems impossible, Ev fans in the Philippines tries their best to achieve this goal. As a result, MHIB is currently at the # 14 spot at the MIT 20 charts.

 Evanescence continues to suffer over the different competitors in the different music genres in the said chart. Philippine music nowadays, are dominated by Pop and K-Pop acts. Acts includes Taylor Swift, Super Junior and Big Bang.

World Evanescence Day!

March 4 is the declared Evanescence Day for all Ev fans around the world. The announcement came from the official fan club forum of Evanescence, EvThreads.

Today, March 4, 2012, the fans are celebrating the 9th World Evanescence Day. In line with this, different Ev Clubs around the world (including here in the Philippines), are trying to make #WorldEvanescenceDay a WWTT on twitter. This was participated by the different Ev fans around the world.

Question: So why March 4?

Answer: It was in March 4, 2003,  when Evanescence released their first studio album titled "Fallen". With this album, the band garnered recognition's in different award giving bodies, including the Grammys. This was the ticket of the band to the world-wide-fame roller coaster.

Currently, the band is on tour to support their third studio album, "Evanescence", which is still out in all leading record bars. The new CD features the roaring single, "What You want" and the emotion-wave "My Heart Is Broken".
